My Story

My passion for holistic medicine was sparked by personal experience.

I discovered yoga and meditation in 2002 as I attempted to heal from the loss of my mother to cancer. These mindfulness practices helped me learn how to stay present in my body and how to process my grief, and they opened my mind to the world of holistic therapies. Several years later, I confronted a severe health challenge and was unsatisfied with the conventional treatment options offered to me, which I knew would not address the root cause of my symptoms. I explored holistic therapies instead and had the great fortune to meet an acupuncturist. I soon fell in love with Chinese Medicine and ultimately chose to study the medicine so that I could share it with others.

 My Family ♥

I’m a Colorado native and I live in Golden with my husband of 12 years, Nick, and our sweet rescue kitty, Jasmine. Outside the clinic, you will find me hiking, backpacking, cooking, practicing yoga, and tending to my (oversized) collection of houseplants.

★★★★★

Julie is an excellent practitioner, I can't recommend her highly enough!

She is kind, professional, and welcoming. I was struggling with knee pain and an inflamed bicep tendon after a car accident and a fall while skiing. Julie performed acupuncture and cupping on the affected areas, and the relief was almost immediate! I also had a second degree burn from the car accident and an allergic reaction to the burn cream they used in urgent care. NOTHING was clearing the rash. Julie gave me an herbal tincture and the rash started to break within 24 hours. I'm so grateful to have found her!
